LATCHKEY LEAGUE RECEIVES COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF COLLIER’S “2017 EXCELLENCE IN CIVIC LEADERSHIP” AWARD

(June 8, 2017 – Naples, Florida) Myra Janco Daniels, founder, is pleased to share the selection of the Latchkey League, Inc. as recipient of the 2017 Excellence in Civic Leadership Award from the Community Foundation of Collier County. The award, one of four that will be presented at November’s Celebration of Philanthropy, recognizes a civic organization whose members’ volunteer service to a program or project in our community has had demonstrable impact.

In 2015, the Latchkey League became a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation to support and provide services to the Fran Cohen Youth Center in Naples and provide grants to eligible organizations that serve the needs of youth in Collier County.

Latchkey League members plan a wide range of fundraising events, hold informative luncheons during season and volunteer with nonprofit organizations that offer after-school programs for children in the greater-Naples area.
