Latchkey League Presents $40,000 for a Grant To Fran Cohen Youth Center, located at the Salvation Army, Naples, Fl.

(Friday, March 1 – Naples, FL) The Latchkey League following their mission to provide educational, cultural and recreational services to children who need after-school supervision, provided a special grant to the Fran Cohen Youth Center.

With the partnership with Community Foundation of Collier County, the Fran Cohen Youth Center was granted $40,000 at their March 1, 2019 Luncheon

The $40,000 grant was presented to The Salvation Army, and accepted by Hilary Shore, Director of The Fran Cohen Youth Center. The Salvation currently serves after school programs for 180 children who are considered at-risk. During the summer months special weekly programs are offered while school is out.  The Center provides programs for children of all ability levels the opportunity to play and grow in a positive and safe environment. The programs strive to develop the whole child – within their environment – to help them grow physically, mentally and socially.
